Private Couples Intensive
So much can happen when there is time, safety, and support
A couples intensive offers space to slow down and truly focus on your relationship. Instead of spreading the work out over months, this three-day experience allows you and your partner to step away from daily life and give your relationship the attention it deserves. An intensive also allows the therapist’s full focus on your couple dynamics. You get clarity and growth quickly.
If you’re here, you’re probably hoping for more
You may have been wondering for a while whether couples therapy could help. Maybe part of you hoped things would shift on their own. And maybe another part of you knows that something important needs care — not because things are “bad,” but because they matter.
Many couples choose an intensive before reaching a breaking point. They come because love is still present, even if it’s been harder to access. They want to understand each other better, feel safer emotionally, and rediscover the sense of “we” that feels fragile or distant.
You don’t have to wait until things feel unbearable to seek support.
What makes this intensive different
Your relationship is unique, and we treat it that way. In a private couples intensive, you and your partner work closely with a therapist who is deeply trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) — an approach grounded in helping couples feel safer, more understood, and more emotionally connected.
Together, we will gently explore:

The patterns that keep pulling you apart

The emotions underneath conflict or withdrawl

The moments where connection gets lost—and how to find it again
This work isn’t about blame or fixing one another. It’s about understanding what happens between you and creating new experiences of closeness, responsiveness, and trust.
The extended format allows for depth, reflection, and real change — without feeling rushed.
How to begin a couples intensive
Step 1:
Reach out
Begin by completing our inquiry form. You can bring some of your couples challengs and during the consultation Shane can give you an overview of how we would approach helping you through these marital issues. In short, the consultation is a place to assess for fit. Am I the right fit counselor for you? Shane is also screening to ensure your couple relationship is the right fit for this type of therapy intervention.

A Complimentary Virtual Consultation
You and your partner will meet with a therapist to explore whether an intensive feels right for you. Many couples find this conversation meaningful in itself — simply having space to share hopes, concerns, and intentions can bring clarity and relief.
This step helps create a sense of safety and shared direction before the intensive begins.
If everyone is in agreement, we will proceed with booking.
Step 3:
Commit to the Work and Show Up
If you decide together that a couples intensive is the right next step, you’ll schedule your three-day experience and review all details with your therapist. The investment for a 3-Day Couples Intensive is $3,750. A $500 deposit it required to save your date. The balance is due 20 days before the scheduled intensive. We have a Care Credit account if you need financing for 6 months, 12 months, or 18 months.
Showing up is an act of courage. We invite you to come honestly — with your questions, your fears, your longings, and your love. Our role is to help slow things down, make sense of what’s been happening, and create opportunities for genuine reconnection.
